RadioHelm

Features

RadioHelm covers the full day of a radio station, from building the playlist to logging what aired.

Music library

Drag folders into the library and RadioHelm reads artist, title, year and genre from the tags. Mark intro, segue and outro points once and every crossfade lands on time. Loudness normalization keeps every song at the same level.

Clocks and scheduler

Design hourly clocks from categories like Hits, Recurrents and Greek, then assign them to each hour of the week. Artist and title separation rules stop repeats, and you can edit any generated playlist before it airs.

Reliable playout

Two player decks with gapless playback and smart crossfades. Switch between full automation and live assist with one click, and RadioHelm keeps the hard-timed events, like the news at the top of the hour, exactly on time.

Jingle cart wall

Pages of instant-play buttons for jingles, sweepers, sound effects and beds. Assign keyboard shortcuts and colors, and keep separate pages for each show.

Commercials

Enter each customer’s campaign once, with dates, hours and the number of spots per day. RadioHelm places the spots into ad breaks and keeps an exact log of what aired, ready to send to the client.

Built-in streaming

The built-in encoder streams MP3 or AAC to Icecast and Shoutcast servers, and sends the current song title to your listeners’ players and your website.

Live and voice tracking

Open the microphone and the music ducks automatically. Record voice links between songs ahead of time so your shows sound live even when nobody is in the studio.

Logs and reports

Every played item is logged with its exact time. Export daily reports for royalty societies, advertisers or your own records.

English and Greek

Every screen, message and the manual are available in English and Greek, and Greek tags and file names are fully supported.
